ItworksatfixedfrequencyinPWMmode,wherethedutycycleiscontrolledbytheembeddedlogicrunningaPerturbObserveMPPTalgorithm.Theswitchingfrequency,internallygeneratedandsetbydefaultat100kHz,isexternallytunable,whilethedutycyclecanrangefrom5%to90%withastepof0.2%.
